Scope and price in writing. What's in, what's out, what it costs and when it ships, fixed before we write code.
Staged payments. At kickoff, at the midpoint and at delivery. Never the full amount up front.
You own the code. It lives in a repository in your name, with the history of every change.
And the infrastructure. Servers and database in accounts you own. If you switch vendors, you take everything.
Money-back guarantee. If the system doesn't work for you, you get your money back. Maintenance is optional.
