A hotel's planner, with the orphan nights flagged
The demo is a recreation of the system, with made-up data: the original belongs to the client and is not published. No sign-up needed.

The context
An eighteen-room hotel runs on a spreadsheet and a notebook, and it works until the day someone calls to ask if there's room for the long weekend. A list of bookings is no use there: you need to see the eighteen rows together. And even when you can, there's money leaking out without anyone noticing, because a free night between two bookings almost never sells: nobody searches for a single night.
What the system does
- Room planner by day, colored by status —who's leaving today, who's arriving, who's staying— and not by sales channel
- Orphan nights flagged on their own, with what they add up to: they're the only alert in the whole system
- Housekeeping ordered by what time the next guest checks in, not by room number
- You can't check in to a dirty room, and the screen says why instead of hiding the button
- Rate calendar with each day's occupancy in the same column, and minimum nights so gaps don't get created
- Each channel's commission next to what it sold: a night through Booking at 92,000 leaves the same as a direct one at 78,000
- Eleven views in three groups: the day's operation, the commercial side and the back office, with the sidebar always in view
