The context

Finding a plumber means asking in the building's group chat and waiting for someone to pass along a number. For unclogging a kitchen sink that's an afternoon lost on a forty-minute job; for a leak nobody can locate it's worse, because the person suffering it can't name it and nobody quotes without coming to look. And at the end there's a stranger inside the house and a transfer paid up front.

What the system does

• A catalog of 72 services with closed prices and 46 professionals across eight trades
• A storefront with the most requested, one per trade and the people online nearby: the jobs that are always the same job get bought without a quote
• A service page with what's included and what isn't, so the closed price stays closed when the professional arrives
• Search by the problem and not by the trade: "water leak" and "locked out" find what you need to ask for
• A screen per trade with its services, its people and the photo path for what the catalog doesn't cover
• One photo and three questions from the trade turn what you can't name into a request that can be quoted without a visit
• Quotes are shown in the same unit: the one who quotes without materials gets compared with them added in
• Sorted by price or by who can come soonest; the badges come from a calculation and there is no recommended order
• The payment leaves the card on acceptance and is held until you sign off; the dispute button is right next to it
• The profile shows the verified license and the last three jobs, not an average of stars
• Closing with before and after photos in the same framing, and the detail of what was replaced
• Job history that's useful for calling the same person again, with the cancelled ones and the ones you wouldn't repeat in plain sight
