The context
A car dealership where the real stock was known by the owner, the listings were run by someone else and the status of each paperwork item lived in each salesperson's chat. With owned units, consigned units and trade-ins on the same lot, the simplest question —whose car is this and how low can we go— had a different answer depending on who you asked.
What the system does
- A record for each unit, from arrival to delivery
- Consignment with its agreement, its term and its settlement
- Trade-ins and the balance for or against each deal
