The context
A builder with three sites running at once. Progress was reported in a Monday meeting and the cost overrun showed up when the supplier's invoice arrived, with the work already done. Weeks pass between something going off track and someone seeing it, and in that gap the site kept moving on the old number.
What the system does
- Quantities and budget by trade, with each one's certified progress
- Daily site reports with crew, equipment and weather
- Spent against budgeted, per site
