The context
An insurance broker with his own book of business. Tracking due dates and installments lived in two spreadsheets and a notebook, and a lapsed policy was discovered the day the client called to report a claim. By then there is nothing left to do, and what was lost is not that month's premium: it's the client.
What the system does

- Installment plan for each policy, with what's paid, pending and overdue
