FlytBase: an AI agent that answers from the company's documentation

Where they started

FlytBase (https://www.flytbase.com) is a drone autonomy company. Its customers and prospects have technical and commercial questions about the product, and the company wanted an AI agent that answers them from its own information.

Atomix built it on its own agent platform, designed so that each company can have its own agent configured with its own material.

The day-to-day problem

A technology company gets repeated questions about what the product does, how it is used and how to reach the team. Answering them one by one takes time from people who could focus on the more complex inquiries, and the generic answers of an off-the-shelf assistant don't work for a specific product.

What we built

• A custom agent, with a name, tone and instructions specific to the company.
• Its own knowledge base, built from files, texts and web pages.
• Answers limited to that information: the agent replies with what it was given.
• Website chat, with configurable colors, welcome message and texts.
• Contact capture when someone shows interest, through a form inside the chat.
• Conversation history to review what was asked.

How it works

The company's documentation and content are loaded and the platform processes them so the agent can search them. When a person writes in the site's chat, the agent consults that material and replies in the defined tone. If the person shows interest, they can leave their details so the team can follow up.

Decisions we made

The agent answers only from the material it was given, because in a technical product an invented fact causes confusion. And the content can be updated without touching code: the company adds or changes sources when the product changes.

Where it is today

FlytBase has been using the agent since 2025, for more than a year.
