In short: yes, you can see your app, software or AI agent working before you pay for development. At Atomix we build a free demo of your case —your products, your customers, the way you work— in 24 hours, 48 at most. You try it on your phone or computer and only then decide whether to go ahead. If it doesn't fit, you've paid nothing.
This article explains what that demo is, what it includes, what it doesn't, and why it's worth asking for one before investing in any development project, with us or anyone else.
The problem with paying for something you haven't seen
Commissioning software usually goes like this: you describe what you need, get a quote with a list of features and pay a deposit. You only see what you're getting weeks or months later. If what you pictured and what the vendor understood don't match, you find out after you've invested.
The risk isn't bad faith: words only go so far in describing a system. "A sales dashboard" means different things to different people. A working screen, on the other hand, is understood in two minutes.
What the Atomix free demo is
It's a working, clickable version of what you need, built on your case. Not a PDF of mockups or a slide deck: an application you can open, walk through and use.
- With your sample data: your product names, your customer types and your processes, not generic content.
- With the key screens: the ones that solve the problem that brought you to us, not the whole system.
- With real actions: entering data, searching, filtering, viewing a dashboard, getting a reply from the agent.
- From a link: open it on your phone or computer and share it with your partner or team.
It works for three kinds of projects:
If you need | The demo shows you |
|---|---|
An app (iOS, Android or web) | Your users' main flow, screen by screen |
Custom software or a business system | The data-entry and lookup screens, plus a dashboard with your metrics |
An AI agent | A test conversation answering with your business information |
How it works, step by step
- A 30-minute call. You tell us how you work today, what's getting in the way and what you'd like to fix. Free.
- We build the demo. In 24 hours, 48 at most, based on that call.
- We send you the link. Try it whenever you like, with whoever you like.
- You decide. If it works for you, we send a proposal with fixed scope and price in writing. If not, that's the end of it, no strings attached.
What it includes and what it doesn't
Knowing the scope helps the demo do its job:
- Included: the main flow working, the interface design and sample data from your industry.
- Not included: real integrations with your systems (invoicing, payments, ERP), your customers' real data or every feature of the finished system. Those are part of development.
The demo isn't the final product: it's how we make sure we're talking about the same thing before you put money in.
Why we do it for free
Because it's the best way we've found to lower the risk on both sides. You see what you'll get before deciding. We confirm we understood the problem before quoting, so the proposal is more accurate. The AI development tools we use mean a demo takes hours, not weeks, and that's what lets us offer it at no cost.
What happens after the demo
If you decide to go ahead, you get a proposal with:
- What's in and what's out, in writing.
- A fixed price. Most of our projects fall between USD 5,000 and USD 10,000.
- Staged payments: at kickoff, at the midpoint and at delivery. Never the full amount up front.
- The code and infrastructure in your name.

Frequently asked questions
Does the free demo have any hidden cost?
No. The call and the demo are free and commit you to nothing. You only pay if you decide to move forward with development, and you see the price in writing first.
How long does the demo take?
24 hours from the call, 48 at most for more complex cases.
Do you build demos of AI agents, not just apps?
Yes. For an AI agent, the demo is a test conversation where the agent answers with your business information, so you can see how it would handle your customers.
What if the demo doesn't convince me?
Nothing happens. Tell us what didn't work and, if it makes sense, we adjust it. If it's not what you're looking for, that's the end of it.
Can the demo be used as the finished product?
No. It shows the main flow with sample data. The finished system adds the integrations, real data, security and the rest of the features.
